Technical Questions: What will Celect do with my member data?; I see that some websites have videos, slideshows and music on their sites. Will you provide us with these options?; We need some very custom graphics and or flash movie done for our website. Is there a charge?; We already have a website, would we be able to keep our current web address/domain name?; What office file types are allowed for upload?; What are the image formats that are allowed?; Can we use HTML coding in the text boxes?; We would like to use PayPal to link donations via our website. Is that possible?

What will Celect do with my member data?: The heart of every organization is its members. Celect does not rent, sell or share your member information with anyone, for any reason, unless asked to do so by you. Back to top
I see that some websites have videos, slideshows and music on their sites. Will you provide us with these options?: Yes, these options come standard with Celect. Sure will. We can do these pretty easily, so just contact us on the procedure and we will be more than happy to assist you. Back to top
We need some very custom graphics and or flash movie done for our website. Is there a charge?: Most changes to a websites appearance is free of charge, however if your websites needs a drastic change or a very lengthy and detailed flash movie, we will have to charge you for the time spent. We are happy to design custom images or flash movies; however there will be a charge depending on size of the project. Most graphic changes can be made relatively easily and they are free of charge, but if you have a special event coming up that you need a whole separate graphic/flash designed for, then we would have to set a price on the time. We already have a website, would we be able to keep our current web address/domain name?: Depending on the URL, this is a yes and no answer. If you have private domain already registered such as http://www.dgillinois.com, it is very easy for us to switch that over to our system and keep that same address alive for your new website. If you are using a free site that gives you an extension like http://www.freesite.com/dgillinois, we cannot use that URL for your new site. Also, if you use and want to continue to use a university domain, such as http://www.freesite.com/dgillinois, we cannot do that either. For both options that we can't build sites on, we can give you a redirect page that will redirect people who visit the old site link, directly to the new site that is built by us. Back to top
What office file types are allowed for upload?: All file types from Microsoft including, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PDF’s can be uploaded into your website. These files can be private (for members only) or public. Back to top
What are the image formats that are allowed?: Celect currently allows JPEG images to be uploaded into your site. You can upload one at a time or multiple images at once. Back to top
Can we use HTML coding in the text boxes?: We realize that there are many technically savvy people who use our web tools, so we built a robust text editor section that allows you to switch to 'Source' view and edit the HTML. Back to top
We would like to use PayPal to link donations via our website. Is that possible?: Yes, you may embed a PayPal link anywhere in the site. However, Celect also boasts an inexpensive processing service called CelectPay. We charge a small 2.8% plus 25 cents processing fee for each transaction.
